Weekly CoR implementation tip
Does your organisation have the CoR Training and Communication Procedure?
The CoR Training and Communication Procedure sets out the requirements and processes to identify the parties that require training and/or communication about their CoR responsibilities and implement training and communication activities.
It also specifies key responsibilities for training and communication implementation, key records and reporting outputs and requirements for monitoring, review and audit.
The training requirements should follow a training and competency framework where:
- workplace roles are identified
- competencies for each role are defined
- CoR responsibilities for each role are identified
- the training needs for each role are analysed
- a training plan is developed to meet the training needs
The communication requirements should follow a similar process where:
- internal and external roles are identified (including supply chain partners)
- CoR responsibilities for each role are identified
- the communication requirements are identified
- a communications plan is developed to meet the communication needs
