Truck Sets off Sprinklers in Airport Tunnel

A number of videos have emerged of a truck grazing the inside wall of Sydney’s Airport Tunnel, setting off sprinklers and causing major traffic delays.

The truck appears to be over the height limit and scrapes the edge of the top of the tunnel which creates a wall of sparks and emitting smoke from the truck.

According to a NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman, a number of spinkler heads were ripped off when the truck grazed the side of tunnel.

The sprinklers were set off, covering the road in water until they could be turned off.
