Truck Crash in Sydney Claims Motorcyclist’s Life

NSW road safety has had a rocky start to the year.

A collision in Sydney’s northwest resulted in the death of a motorcyclist when his vehicle collided with a truck.

The male motorcycle rider died at the scene of the crash in Marsden Park. The truck driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

The Christmas and New Year’s holiday periods were not a good time for road safety in the state.

Police confirmed that the 2017-2018 carnage was double that of the previous year.
