Police Raid Factories After Fatal Hit and Run
A company had several of its processing factories raided by police after a fatal hit and run incident involving a truck from the company’s fleet.
The raids resulted in dozens of defect notices for the company across New South Wales after one of the company’s truck drivers was charged over a hit-and-run incident in Sydney which claimed the life of a pedestrian.
The driver, a 36 year old man is facing court over the death of a 60 year old woman at Brookvale a few weeks ago.
After running over the woman as she walked across a pedestrian crossing, the driver failed to stop.
The woman was then struck by a second truck and dragged along the road before the driver of that truck stopped.
