Pedestrian Dies after being struck by Truck in Melbourne

A pedestrian passed away after being hit by a truck in Melbourne east recently.

The woman was struck by the truck at the corner of Denmark Street and Studley Park Road in Kew.

The pedestrian died at the scene.

Investigations into the incident are underway and police have questioned the truck driver at the scene.

The incident caused traffic delays and commuters were encouraged to find an alternative route. Train services on certain routes also had to be stopped.
