Melbourne Beach Road Truck Curfew Made Permanent
Beach Road in Melbourne will have a permanent 24/7 truck curfew imposed between Port Melbourne and Mordialloc.
The curfew came into effect on February 25 following a number of trial truck curfew times.
The restrictions came after strong community calls and the state government says it will help improve traffic and ease congestion.
The only trucks allowed will be those making local deliveries, loading or unloading goods or with no other route.
