Female Trainees in High Demand for Road Transport Jobs

A recent post on FullyLoaded.com.au evidences how in demand females are in the road transport industry.

The post highlights a group of students who have begun the Women Driving Transport Careers (WDTC) pilot training program with 8 female students on the road to getting their truck drivers’ licences.

While the rewards are great, there hasn’t been a lot of interest in the past for women in the trucking industry but this is changing.

Women in the Wodonga area are excited about this particular initiative, as are companies in the area.
