Driver Flees as Truck Goes Up in Flames

A truck caught alight on Sydney’s M5 Motorway at Beverley Hills recently, causing its driver to flee for his life.
The driver is fortunate to be alive after his truck veered into the side of the motorway and the cabin became engulfed in flames.
The man managed to escape in time but all that was left of the truck and semi-trailer were burnt carcasses.
The incident happened overnight and road-users were subjected to major delays the following morning.
Some motorway users passing by the blaze were panicked by the flames and feared the vehicle would explode.
