New Heavy Vehicle Inspection Standards for Tas and The ACT

If you’re a trucking operator in either Tasmania or The ACT, there are a new set of heavy vehicle inspection standards for you to abide by, after the 2 regions decided to adopt the National Heavy Vehicle Inspection Manual Version 2.

The standards will also be rolled out across the country in other states and territories as of July 1st this year, Tasmania, The ACT and SA have decided to update their standards a little earlier.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) says most of the changes will revolve around clear inspection criteria and are aimed at reflecting the advances made in heavy vehicles.
